Another Awesome Video :)

Here is another video my youth pastor shared with us. I thought it was really good.

Awesome Video!

My youth pastor showed this video. I thought it was really interesting. When I used to read that passage, I thought that it was nothing important. Now I realize just how much it means.

First Post!!!!!!

Let me tell you a little about my King. It all started long ago before I was born. He created a world. In this world he put beautiful things. Oceans filled with awesome creatures that were big and powerful and small creatures that were so complex. He created land with pretty flowers and majestic mountains. He made everything PERFECT. The most beautiful thing he put on the earth was a man and woman. He made them in his image. He loved them. But something happened. They sinned and all of a sudden they weren't perfect anymore. There was a separation between the King and his creation. So as time passed the King decided to do something. He decided to sacrifice his only son so that his people would not be separated from him any longer. So he came down in the form of a man.
He was born of a virgin. He did many wonderful things on the earth but the most wonderful thing of all he did was die a cruel and painful death so his people would not be separated from him.
You see, the King set all of our sin onto his shoulders when he died on the cross. He died for our sins. He died for YOU! But that's not all. He defeated death and rose from the grave so that when his people died they might live with him forever. And the ONLY thing they have to do is accept him into their hearts and follow him. Is that not awesome?! When I was young, I accepted him as King of my life and have tried hard to follow in his footsteps. I have not been perfect. But the King doesn't ask for perfection, he wants us to try our best. It isn't easy. Sometimes the King asks us to do some tough things but he promises never to leave us or forsake us. He is always right there. He knows what we are going through because he has gone through it too. He loves us so much, even though we fall short so many times. He loves each one of us. He handcrafted each one of us and we are beautiful in his eyes. He whispers in our ears and says, "You were made for a greater purpose. You are mine and I love you. You are my child. YOU are my daughter (or son)!" I hope you realize how much the King loves you. Accept him into your heart and let him be king of your life. All you have to do is Admit you are a sinner, Believe that Jesus died for your sins and he rose from the dead and Confess that Jesus is LORD. Pray and let the King, named JESUS, transform your life. Watch out because it will be a wild ride! :) If you want to learn more about this King, look in the Bible. The Book of Life! Well, I guess thats all. TTYL! In Christ, Kiera
