Today I was awakened by my Dad telling my mom that we had water in our basement. Apparently our power was still on but one of our sump pumps died so we spent a couple of hours bailing the sump pump so we would not get any more water in our basement. That went on until our friend came with a new sump pump and installed it. Whew! A lot of people in our area got water in their basements. We have to remember though that God works everything for the good of those who love him. For some reason, at 5:30 in the morning, God chose to have our sump pump stop working.We don't know why, but God has a reason and we should trust him. His ways are higher than our ways.
